Coverage varies by plan, so we encourage each client to confirm benefits, copays, deductibles, coinsurance, and prior authorization requirements directly with their insurance provider before beginning services.

Personalized Solutions directly bills the insurance plans listed below. If your plan is listed, we may be able to submit claims to your insurance company on your behalf. Final coverage, payment responsibility, and authorization requirements are determined by your insurance plan.

Personalized Solutions may be able to bill applicable KanCare Medicaid plans directly when services are covered and clinically appropriate. Many commercial insurance plans include outpatient behavioral health benefits. Depending on your plan, you may owe a copay, deductible, coinsurance, or payment for services that are not covered. Personalized Solutions can bill participating insurance plans directly, but clients remain responsible for any balance assigned by the insurance company.

Some insurance plans require prior authorization before psychotherapy services are covered. If prior authorization is required and not completed before services begin, your insurance company may deny payment. Clients are responsible for confirming authorization requirements with their insurance provider.

Copays, deductibles, coinsurance, and non-covered services are the patient’s responsibility. Personalized Solutions requires a credit card on file for balances assigned by insurance, including copays, deductible amounts, coinsurance, missed-appointment fees, and services not covered by the plan.

Due to Medicare billing restrictions and audit requirements, Medicare patients are seen only within scope of practice on an opt-out, cash-pay basis. Medicare patients should contact Personalized Solutions before scheduling to confirm whether services can be provided under the practice’s current Medicare policy.
