Louie

Dedicated Office Greeter (DOG)

Louie  assists the therapists by enthusiastically welcoming clients, supervising sessions from a nearby cozy spot, and occasionally offering a respectful hello when it’s clearly invited. Louie is known for his warm presence, impressive cuddle instincts, and his belief that every person is a potential new best friend.

While Louie is not a trained therapy dog, he provides completely unofficial emotional support through tail wags, soulful eye contact, and the occasional (consensual) surprise kiss. He takes boundaries seriously and will only approach clients who welcome his attention.

Louie is not in the office every day, as even the most hardworking DOG needs time to rest and recharge after the emotional labor of being this charming. If you prefer not to interact with Louie, he is happy to retire to another space—no hard feelings, though he may be quietly disappointed.

* Louie is not certified, licensed, or formally trained in anything other than being adorable.

Areas of “Practice”

1. Client Greeting
Louie specializes in joyful welcomes and making first impressions less intimidating. His approach is gentle, observant, and invitation-only—though his tail may wag whether or not he’s involved.

2. Unofficial Comfort Services
With permission, Louie excels at lap warming, foot proximity, and calm companionship. He believes proximity alone is therapeutic, and science has yet to prove him wrong.

3. Mood Elevation & Comic Relief
Louie has a natural talent for lightening the mood through tiny legs, dramatic sighs, and well-timed appearances. Awkward silences rarely survive his presence.
